Owned by Lisa Marsh and run with her family, Lisa was at full time college in 2008-2010 studying a National Diploma in Animal Management and finished her course at the highest level of Distinction. Lisa then went on to full time training her own working gundogs aswell as setting up Ashford Kennels breeding in 2011. She then became a full Council licensed breeder in 2013. Her aim is to breed only the best puppies with fantastic health and temperament both for the working and family homes.

She also proudly achieved her full five star council license in 2019. Lisa has currently undergone extra qualifications to add to her success all reaching Distinction level- Dog Grooming Diploma, Canine Behaviour Training Diploma, a 3 yearly Dog First Aid Diploma and much more.
Most recently Lisa has yet again re-licensed at the highest rating of five star for the Sixth year running with her local council (March 2025). Ashford Kennels offer a stud dog service aswell as help, advice and guidance with breeding correctly. These can be found on our Stud Dog page.

They also have a granted kennel name under Miss L Marsh as the affix “COTTMARSH”.
